The diversity of our assignments and activities makes routine a distant memory. In your role as a Data Management Engineer, you will help translate customer requests into concrete data management solutions.
Through our varied set of activities (Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality and Master Data Management) you will guide clients towards becoming sustainable, data driven companies. In this context, you will be given the creativity and freedom to build solutions that we can pro-actively take to market. By combining your business knowledge and technical skills you will support our clients in their Data Governance & Data Management needs.
Among other tasks, and depending on your experience and personal interests, you will also:
Design, implement and support solutions in a pragmatic manner, using different technologies and tools (Collibra, Talend and Informatica, amongst others)
Work together with more senior colleagues to deliver value to our customers
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Data Governance practice to keep it tuned with market trends and technological evolutions (unstructured data, cloud and data privacy, for example)

As a successful applicant you will have rocked in at least some of the following criteria:
A Bachelor or Master’s degree in the field of Computer Science, IT, Information Management, Engineering or similar
Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Management or Master Data Management
An analytical and think-out-of-the-box mindset
A knowledge of data landscapes and companies’ data environments (data assets, storage options, systems for creating, analysing & processing data)
Affinity with data and logical models
Data skills (SQL, Python, SAS) and REST APIs
Knowledge of Data Viz software(s) such as PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik
Combining excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Being a real team player and also working independently
At least two languages, being English and Dutch or French

Project Overview This project aims to collect high-quality visuals of streets, key points of interest, and public spaces across EU countries. Using vehicles equipped with removable 360° cameras and lidars, drivers will capture comprehensive images of the surroundings. The captured data will be stored on onboard computers (SSD Drives) and later utilized to enhance one of the world’s leading online mapping platforms. Data collectors will follow pre-assigned routes, focusing on public streets, commercial areas, and points of interest. The duration of the project varies based on the scope of work required in each targeted data collection area. On average, the assignments involve 3 to 6 months of active work.
