Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a strong background in the finance and wealth management industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving the successful implementation of IT solutions within a regulated financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
Work closely with stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Manage risks, dependencies, and issue resolution in complex financial environments.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry best practices.
Oversee vendor and third-party relationships where applicable.
Utilize Agile or hybrid methodologies to optimize project execution.
Provide clear reporting and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in finance and/or wealth management sectors.
Strong understanding of financial products, trading platforms, investment management, or banking systems.
Experience with IT system implementations, data migrations, or digital transformation projects in a financial setting.
Solid knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., FCA, SEC, MiFID, etc.).
Expertise in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management frameworks.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Trello).
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
