Agitprop is an AI-driven quantitative research firm that continues to push the boundaries of advanced modelling — from algorithmic trading to factor modelling and other cutting-edge applications. About the role
We are developing an AI portfolio management app and are looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to craft exceptional user experiences. You will play a crucial role in shaping the visual and interactive design of our mobile application, working closely with our React Native Developer, Product Manager, and backend team. This role involves designing, iterating, and delivering user-centered interfaces, as well as contributing to the overall product strategy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of both UI and UX principles, with a focus on delivering intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling mobile experiences.
Responsibilities
Lead the UI/UX design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using Figma.
Develop and maintain a consistent design system.
Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs.
Collaborate with the Product Manager to define user requirements and product features.
Work closely with the React Native Developer to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Required Skills and Experience
5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience.
Expert-level proficiency in Figma.
Proven track record of designing user-friendly mobile applications.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
Experience in the FinTech industry is highly preferred.
Ability to translate complex financial concepts into intuitive designs.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong portfolio showcasing mobile UI/UX design work.
Key Requirements
FinTech background (preferred).
Expertise in Figma.
Strong portfolio demonstrating mobile UI/UX design capabilities.
Ability to present and explain design decisions effectively.
Portfolio Assessment
Candidates will be primarily assessed based on their portfolio, which should demonstrate a strong understanding of UI/UX principles and a focus on user-centered design.
The ability to present and articulate design decisions is crucial.
