PE Global is recruiting a Automotive Test Engineer for our multinational industrial manufacaturing client based in Desford. The role is a 12-month contract & the rate for this role is £23.59-£32.30 p/h.

Responsibilities:
Conduct vehicle testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and protocols for vehicle systems and components.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical vehicle systems and components to identify and resolve issues. (Off highway and automotive is preferrable but not essential.)
Strong communicator required to collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement test methodologies and equipment.
Monitor and report on test results, including issue management to ensure People, Quality, Velocity, and Cost targets are achieved.
Develop equipment specifications and installation requirements, ensuring that the equipment is safe and meets the needs of manufacturing.
Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to drive DFM and best manufacturing practices.
Requirements:
Degree in an appropriate manufacturing or engineering related field, or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering or design engineering.
Data Acquisition
Experience in vehicle test in automotive, heavy equipment, engine manufacture, aerospace or submarines etc

This is front office role sitting in the Equity/Hybrids team in Cross Markets.
