Primary skills: QA Testing Automation, REXX, JCL, z/OS
Nice to have: Basic understanding of Ansible, Basic understanding of Batch Scheduling software (IBM Z Workload Scheduler, CA7 Workload Automation, Control-M, ZEKE)
Responsibilities:
· Write manual test cases and develop automation covering each case
· Write test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on requirements and specifications provided
· Perform workflow analysis and recommend improvements
· Collaborate with subject matter experts, product owner and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of test cases and test automation
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process, uplifting it as per industry standards
Requirements:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in mainframe testing
· Strong knowledge of coding with REXX and JCL language
· Ability to perform application testing of a closed source product
· Knowledge of test automation tools, methodologies, and standards
· Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills
· Working knowledge of Confluence and Jira
Nice to have:
· Ability to maintain control over project responsibilities
· Ability to work with minimal supervision
· Knowledge of banking industry

NSX Engineer Contract- 6 months – INSIDE IR35 Remote- Immediate start I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Pharma and Supply Chain company for an NSX Engineer to join them on a contractual basis. For this role we are looking to engage with an Engineer with prior experience working with NSX T DFW, vCenter and ESXi and Troubleshooting of VMware technologies. You will be joining the Virtual Infrastructure Engineering team large, complex migration programme of work- migrating assets from DC to DC Essentially you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, implementing, maintaining, and optimising the VMware technologies by security policies and guidelines. You will design and Implement NSX T firewall rules and troubleshoot application connectivity issues with NSX T firewall and VMware technologies. You will be working collaboratively with system users and other technical colleagues on firewall requirements so excellent comms are a must PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and Implement of NSX T firewall rules. Troubleshoot of application connectivity issues with NSX T firewall. Collaborate with application teams on firewall requirements. Troubleshooting of VMware technologies. Work with architecture teams on virtual firewall standards and methodology. Participate in workshops with other technical teams to provide guidance on the use of overlay network with DR. Participates in short- and long-term planning efforts with stakeholders and IT groups. Identifies and communicates how IT infrastructure solutions can support the achievement of short- and long-range business goals. Works with analysts, architecture, and stakeholders to understand business needs. Leads the evaluation of technical requirements for projects to determine the impact to the infrastructure including equipment redundancy and capacity requirements. Ensures completeness of technical requirements and functional architecture analysis for the design and implementation of system business solutions. Determines systems specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Explains to non-SMEs how the proposed solution will support their requirements. Ensures infrastructure solutions are aligned to the business strategy and direction. Directs efforts to demonstrate that information systems are compliant with appropriate corporate policies, industry standards, government regulations, and contractual requirements. Leads or provides technical direction for the planning, designing, and execution of testing efforts. Creates a plan to evolve the system to reduce cost and improve system dynamics. Performs or coordinates Level 3/4 incident assessment and resolution on infrastructure solutions.
