Data Analyst – Stockport - £35,000 - 18-month Contract
My client is a fast-growing start-up focusing in the corporate hospitality sector. With a strong focus on delivering premium experiences, the company provides tailored event packages to some of the most exclusive sporting events globally. With an exceptional pipeline of exciting projects planned for 2025 and 2026 already, they’re looking to a Data Analyst to join their Stockport team.
The new Data Analyst will support these two initiatives, predominantly working on collecting, analysing and interpreting pricing data to drive decision-making, with a view to offering customers not only the best experience, but great value for money. This being said, the majority of the role will revolve around understanding Dynamic pricing models, including demand forecasting and competitor analysis – candidates applying will need to have experience in this area.
Key Responsibilities
Data collection, analysis, and interpretation to support event planning and delivery.
Working with tools such as SQL, Excel, and data visualization software to generate actionable insights.
Monitor competitor pricing and dynamic pricing models to inform strategy utilising company specific insights / with in
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of data insights.
Provide regular reporting and documentation to stakeholders.
Support ad-hoc tasks and projects as required, including hands-on event preparation.
Key skills needed:
Strong experience with Price forecasting: Dynamic pricing, pricing models, demand forecasting
Provden experience in competitor analysis and utilising said data to inform internal decision making
Strong experience with SQL / Excel / Data visualisation software
Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment, working as part of a dynamic team
