Title: Application Support Engineer (Treasury Systems)
Start date: ASAP
Location: Manchester, UK
Contract: 7 Months
Type: Hybrid - 2 Days onsite
Salary: £350 - £395 per day (Inside IR35)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide IT support for all Treasury applications to ensure maximum service availability.
Offer occasional out-of-hours support to ensure business-critical and regulatory tasks are completed.
Assist in the delivery of strategic projects, working both independently and as part of a team.
Deliver BAU small changes and service improvements, assessing benefits and risks accordingly.
Liaise with suppliers and business partners to ensure effective resolution of technical issues and the delivery of agreed commitments.
Engage with Major Incident Managers and Problem Managers during high-severity failures and assist in root cause analysis.
Technical Knowledge:
A strong understanding of Treasury IT systems, with experience in one or more of the following:
Most valuable: SWIFT and/or Kondor+ (or an equivalent Treasury Management System)
SWIFT WebAccess services (e.g., RTGS/Enquiry Link)
Bottomline GTX & Bottomline MMCF
Easyway & Crest
Kondor+
Refinitiv real-time feeds
Bloomberg
Unix knowledge
Database development skills (SQL or Sybase preferred)
Other Skills & Experience:
Incident management experience
Strong IT troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with call logging systems such as SMAX
Experience working with business customers in an IT service delivery environment

- Low Latency Java Developer – Cash Equities London (Hybrid) Contract Outside IR35 ~£800-£1,000 (potential flex for top candidates) Source Technology have multiple high-performance Java developer roles available at a tier one investment bank across FX and Cash Equities. What You’ll Do: Develop and optimize ultra-low latency, high-throughput trading systems. Collaborate with traders, quants, and technology teams to enhance execution performance. Build solutions for trade monitoring, reconciliation, and recovery. Implement automated testing and CI/CD best practices. What We’re Looking For: 10+ years' experience in low-latency Java (Java 11+) development. Expertise in JVM tuning, asynchronous programming, and high-performance messaging. Strong understanding of exchange connectivity, market data feeds, and FIX protocol. Experience in cash equities trading systems is highly desirable.
