Our Workplace Technology team looks after all the technology our employees use on a daily basis, making sure we have access to everything we need to work efficiently.
It's very important to us at Starling Bank that staff have the best possible experience with the technology they use on a daily basis, as such, we invest heavily in the latest Workplace Technology solutions. We run both Macs and Windows, with a majority of our users running Macs.
As a Workplace Technology Technician, you will act as the point of escalation for the Technology support analysts, as well as collaborating with other team members to solve technical problems.
You will closely collaborate with the Workplace Technology Engineers, supporting them on projects that will drive excellence and improve self-service and automation within the Workspace Technology department.

Requirements

In this role you will:
Resolve issues escalated to the team - These include complex issues escalated from the Technology Analysts or from other teams.
Provide support and guidance to the Technology analyst team - taking ownership of issues when required.
Office hardware maintenance - Zoom Rooms hardware troubleshooting, swap outs, and digital signage configuration.
Incident escalations - working with 3rd party suppliers and vendors to resolve issues when required.
Contributing to Engineering projects to ensure a successful delivery:-
-Provide clear and concise runbook documentation
-Testing deployment policies
-Testing software payloads from MDM (Jamf and Intune)

Desired skills:
Extensive experience in troubleshooting computer hardware and OS - Both MacOS and Windows 10.
Experience supporting cloud solutions including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack and Atlassian products.
Experience with day to day administration of MDM platforms - Jamf Pro and Intune a plus.
Experience with troubleshooting and managing Zoom room AV equipment.
Knowledge of best practices around data and endpoint security.
Coding/scripting experience - Python, Powershell, and/or Bash.

You're a team player and work towards a common goal - no task is too big or small for you.
Due to the nature of the role, you are expected to work from the office in a hybrid capacity. Days WFH can vary depending on team requirements.
