Job Description

Job Title:  Associate AI Engineer (Fluent in English and Korean)

About the Role:  Join Chubb's dynamic AI Team as a multilingual Associate AI Engineer. This role involves working in a high-energy environment to develop advanced solutions using Analytics and AI. You will be integral in applying industry best practices to deliver quality software products efficiently and effectively, while embracing the latest technological innovations.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with senior team members to understand and analyse business requirements.

Execute assigned tasks diligently, with a focus on consistent progress.

Develop high-quality code aligned with business objectives, quality standards, and secure web development practices.

Engage with business and tech teams to identify improvements and prioritize user stories.

Provide regular updates on progress during daily standups.

Adapt to priority shifts while maintaining timelines and momentum.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.

3-5 years of experience in Machine Learning (ML), with expertise in crafting and reviewing production-grade Python code.

Fluency in Korean is essential. Proficiency in other Asian or European languages is a plus.

Strong knowledge of ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and practical implementation of ML algorithms at a large scale.

Experience in building applications with large language models (LLMs) and leveraging them to enhance AI solutions.

Experience with distributed, high throughput, and low latency architectures.

Proficiency in software development using containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and frameworks/tools like FastAPI, Uvicorn.

Desirable

Familiarity with Continuous Integration tools and Cloud Deployment processes.

Understanding of end-to-end application development using a full-stack approach is beneficial.

Experience in the P&C insurance industry is advantageous.

Preferred experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Azure Cosmos DB.
