Job Specifications
Data is incredibly valuable, and we're seeking visionary data architects who can design robust data frameworks, and transform raw information into powerful, innovative solutions. You’ll help our customers to become truly data driven and achieve their data goals from a functional and/or technical standpoint. Sounds like you? Then let’s talk!
What will you be doing?
As a data and analytics architect at delaware, you define top-notch data architectures that will allow the proper capture of data, its transformation and visualization, and its preparation for analytics, data science and AI cases.
Part of your workload also consists of:
Taking the technical lead and reporting to the project manager
Define the role the data platform plays in preparing data for business use cases and ensuring proper data governance
Provide training and guidance to our junior profiles, so they can learn while working on your projects
Who are we?
From creating the most basic reports to building a data architecture from scratch – you name it, we’ve done it. In the Microsoft Data & AI Team, you’ll join more than 100 data engineers, analysts and scientists, working on innovative projects alongside one another.
We love to dive deep into data to help clients get to know their company from the inside out. This makes every project a new learning experience we get to share with each other. And we definitely love to share. Through team meetings, data snack sessions, going to conferences and reporting back on them and discussions (called DataCafés) we keep each other in the loop.
We work where we work best, when we work best. delaware has its offices in Antwerp, Ghent, Kortrijk, Liège, Lummen and Wavre. But it’s important to note we also spend a lot of time connecting and working together with customers on-site.
Is there a match?
Let's see. If you...
Are you tried and tested when it comes to setting up data architectures? With a track record of at least 5+ years of experience in the field, you’ve built up a large bank of expertise on data architectures, data engineering, BI-systems, data visualization, etc.
You have a human touch, meaning you’re able to guide workshops and lead a team of technical experts, but you’re also able to discuss and align projects with our customers.
Understand what the team of technical experts is doing and what they should do next, and you provide them with guidance when needed.
Are fluent in Dutch or French, either because it’s your native language or you’ve learned it during your career. In our technical domains, English is a pre-requisite.
Are confident with Microsoft technologies, the Azure data eco-system, Databricks, Fabric,...
Then you are the Data Architect we're looking for!
