The role
As CEO, you will set the strategic vision and take full ownership of driving the company toward ambitious revenue and profitability targets. You will be responsible for leading the company’s overall direction, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring operational excellence. Close collaboration with the Board and investors will be essential while aligning the company’s structure and resources to achieve profitability and support long-term, sustainable growth.

Strategic Leadership & Vision:
Define and execute the long-term strategic vision, ensuring alignment with growth and profitability goals.
Identify and pursue new growth opportunities, including market expansion, partnerships, and product innovation.

Revenue Growth & Commercial Ownership:
Own and drive all revenue-generating activities across marketplace and Live platforms.
Oversee sales, marketing, and partnerships to optimize customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
Deliver and exceed commercial targets while improving unit economics and margins.

Operational Excellence & Scalability:
Ensure operational efficiency across all functions, including Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Delivery.
Implement scalable processes and systems to support rapid growth and improve performance metrics.
Foster a data-driven culture, ensuring key operational and financial KPIs are consistently met and exceeded.

Executive Management & Team Leadership:
Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing executive team, fostering a culture of accountability and execution.
Align organizational structure and resources to support growth objectives and operational efficiency.
Serve as a key liaison with the Board, investors, and external stakeholders, providing transparent and data-driven reporting.

Financial Oversight & Profitability:
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and performance tracking to ensure fiscal discipline and profitability.
Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
Lead capital allocation and fundraising efforts as needed to support strategic growth initiatives.

Requirements
Proven track record as a CEO, Managing Director, or senior executive within a high-growth company.
Strong commercial acumen with experience owning revenue streams, driving sales, and managing partnerships.
Deep understanding of marketplaces, B2B sales, and operational scaling in dynamic environments.
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with the ability to drive cross-functional alignment and execution.
Data-driven mindset with expertise in financial modelling, performance optimization, and decision-making.
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with Boards and investors.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading companies through fundraising, M&A, or public offerings.
MBA or equivalent advanced degree in business or related fields.
Prior experience in the events, marketplace, or hospitality industry.
