Job Description
You will influence the Global One Demand team, inspiring and provoking data-led decisions that will transform the business performance. This position interacts directly with Marketing, Strategic Demand Leadership, Sales & Finance and agency partners, amongst others.
The role also requires Regional onboarding to understand data context – primarily focused on USA, UK and Australia (with France, Germany and Canada also key). The strategic Global brands are Ben’s Original, Dolmio and Masterfoods, and sharing best practice with more newly acquired business like Tasty Bite and Kevin’s will also be a key opportunity.
What are we looking for?
Degree in Market Research or other related area (business, communication, marketing) or equivalent
Experienced CMI data professional (min 5 years) with deep understanding & hands-on experience of continuous data
To include experience of maintaining / integrating databases, creating bespoke reports for C-Suite level, running data analytics tailored to business briefing.
Agency experience and stakeholder influence skills appreciated
Software experience with Red Slim, Nielsen Discover, SPSS-based software and / or Power BI
Fluent in English. Other languages appreciated
What will be your key responsibilities?
Development of automated Global reporting suite
Building on existing Mars Inc templates and creating value-add analytics to drive critical thinking from Board level to Assistant Brand Managers
Elevating commentary and visualisation – tailoring to pre-read vs present format
Providing best-in-class examples for regional cascades and upskilling CMI team
Management of data lake and further integration of global data streams
Primarily focusing on Nielsen and Circana (eg new Ready Meals data set) with opportunities for further data providers from 2026+ and leading as key POC for Global cross-segment meetings
Owner of the external reporting suite SPRINT, working with Red Slim (software partner) to ensure quality service
First point of contact for troubleshooting regarding data, QC and reporting and lead all internal comms relating to reporting and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Co-ordinate Global continuous data briefs
Determining best fit of platform (eg Nielsen Discover vs Red Slim Sprint) and how to globalise regional requests for consistency
Translating data feeds to impactful insights via powerpoint charting and help coordinate consistent approach across regions (with focus on aligned Growth Metrics)
Other
Develop network with data analytics counterpart cross Mars segments
Manage data costs and change impact with Global CMI and Digital Demand
Upskill broader CMI team members on data reporting and automation
