Job Specifications

Our client based in Brussels is looking for an experience Citrix SME. This is a contract/freelance position initially until the end of 2025 with strong possibility of extensions.

Please note that active EU Secret clearance is required for this role.

Essential skills and experience:
Higher education in Computer Science or relevant subject
Minimum 5 years of Citrix XenApp / Citrix XenDesktop experience in multiple environments
Citrix environment with high availability
Experience of XenApp configuration, XenDesktop, Provisioning Server, some hypervisor and management experience (vSphere/vCenter)
Experience with and knowledge of third-party solutions related to desktop virtualization – including thin terminals, thin boot applications, profile/personality management, print management, etc
A strong background in Microsoft based systems and the interrelated technologies (Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012 with Terminal Services Role).
Basic Active Directory functionalities
IT Security (PKI, encryption, server hardening, etc.)
SCCM Knowledge
NetScaler
Security and performance management of user workspaces : AppSense Desktop Now
Understanding of VMware ESX/vSphere, including HA, DRS, vMotion and Virtual Center
