We’re looking for an experienced MI Analyst to join our Group Risk team. In this role you will produce reports and insight to support the management of credit risk and the wider business.
As our MI Analyst you’ll be responsible for the effective delivery of data, reporting and analytics through developing end user data sources and dashboards, to allow greater levels of insight to be obtained. You’ll also contribute towards being part of a high performing team with a high level of both technical and industry expertise.

The Role
Work with ETL developers to translate business needs to technical specifications.
Design, build and deploy PowerBI reports and dashboards for use by other areas of the business.
Design, build and deploy Databricks SQL reports and data extracts for use by other areas of the business.
Conduct testing and troubleshooting for data and system changes.
Evaluate and suggest improvements to existing BI and analytics processes.
Work with other BI Developers as part of a high performing data and analytics team.
Provide guidance on best practice to other BI Developers
About You
You’ll have experience in preparing reports and presenting data and business information to key stakeholders. Skills, abilities, and behaviours we’re looking for include:
Proven experience developing MI solutions
Experience in MS PowerBI and SQL is essential
Financial Services experience is preferred
Understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
Understanding of Azure Datalakes, ADF and Databricks and how they output to PowerBI
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant would be advantageous, but not essential
