Our Client
Immersum are working with a start-up that is changing the game with IP powered by AI. They are entering scale up mode and looking to double the size of their team in H2 2025. You will join the 2 Founders and a team of 8 Engineers in their journey to build their product, solving complex challenges and make a meaningful difference in the world. They have just received a large round of funding from one of the largest VC's in the tech and AI space and are looking to capitalise on the growth of the business by bringing in 2 SWE's.

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Software Engineer to join their team being a product-minded individual who wants to build and ship at lightening speed and have total ownership over your work. You will jump straight into things from day 1, growing the product and solving complex challenges as you go working alongside the high performing team.

Their Stack:
Java, Python, TypeScript, React, Spark, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, AWS
AI, ML, LLMs, Information Retrieval (IR), Deep Tech

Key requirements:
STEM degree (BSc and above)

Nice to have:
MSc or PhD (STEM)
Deep tech experience
B2B SaaS
Information Retrieval (IR) with AI.

Requirements:
You will contribute to the whole platform from BE to ML infra to building pipelines to retrieve web rich data to contributing to the FE.
You are a thoughtful problem solver with a proven track record of building world class software (c3+ years of experience).
You approach problems holistically, think critically about the value add of what you are building and the implications of your technical decisions on the product, user and technical architecture. You take pride in the value of the product you build, its maintainability and the quality of your code.
You are self sufficient and are comfortable with ambiguity and with managing your own goals.

This role requires that you work onsite in London 5 days a week.
