About The Team

As a DevOps Engineer at Worldpay, you will be an active member in developing & supporting the product, adopting best CI/CD practices & increasing the speed and resiliency of our delivery practices. Collaborate on product vision and roadmap with various teams across the business. Be part of an agile team in the day-to-day execution of sprint. Keep up with DevOps best practices and trends

What You’ll Own

Design, build and manage our AWS infrastructure via Terraform / Cloudformation
Design, build and manage CI/CD tools (e.g CloudBees Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus) in Kubernetes
Ability to provide technical consultation to our internal development teams
Ability to present to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Understand the team objectives and make sure that the team are on the path to achieving their Sprint / PI Goals.
Participate in code reviews, retros, demos & other ceremonies
Other duties to facilitate smooth running of the team

What You Bring

Minimum 3+ years of professional work experience as a DevOps / Cloud / Platform Engineer
Experience in K8s (containerisation technology), helm & Terraform (IaC).
Experience in AWS/Azure infrastructure management and automation
Experience in one or more coding/scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go)
Experience in Configuration Management (Ansible/Puppet) & CI/CD automation
Experience around monitoring, alerting & logging
Experience with fundamental Linux administration
Good communication & presentation skills
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
