About The Role (What You’ll Be Doing)
This role will join the first UK specific engineering squad to run growth experiments in a hyper-localised environment. Our broader engineering team is based in AU who manage our platform architecture and new feature releases however this team will focus on optimising growth hacks for the UK market while leveraging the same platform. By localising our approach, we believe we can improve key conversion metrics for our products.
Run data-driven growth experiments to optimise the market’s conversion funnel.
Extend and refine the existing platform to improve UK-specific customer journeys.
Work in small, fast-paced iterative cycles, continuously testing and learning.
Leverage insights to improve retention and repeat orders in the UK market.
Ensure seamless front-end experiences across key conversion touchpoints.
About You (Who You Are)
Strong React & TypeScript experience and proficiency in Node.js with GraphQL.
Experience working in highly iterative, data-driven teams.
Understanding of conversion funnel optimisation in a digital product.
At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role at other startups or software companies under your belt.
Experience building web products with our tech stack
Proven record of successfully breaking down projects, estimate timelines and consistently delivering high-quality work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You are curious about how things work and have innate ability to problem solve - this is crucial as you won't always have the information you need to move forward.
Nice to haves
Exposure to Go.
Familiarity with data visualisation tools like Metabase or Tableau.
Experience in growth-focused roles at startups.
