The Role
An Azure based DevOps Engineer will administer knowledge of best practices and confidence to guide the customer and a team of other engineers in an Agile environment. In this role you will design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) of software applications.

Key responsibilities:
Develop and manage infrastructure as code using ARM templates to automate and standardize deployment processes.
Manage and optimize source code repositories using Git or Azure Repos, ensuring code quality and version control best practices.
Create and manage build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps, including setting up triggers, orchestrating deployments, and managing artifacts.
Set up monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights) to ensure the reliability and performance of applications and infrastructure.
Implement security best practices, perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Investigate and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, providing timely support to development and operations teams.

Your Profile
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services and solutions.
Proficiency with Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
Hands-on experience with ARM templates, terraform or Azure Bicep.
In-depth knowledge of Git for source code management.
Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.).
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) is a plus.
Creating and managing npm packages.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
Agile based delivery experience.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
