Position Summary:

Perforce is searching for a Senior Product Manager to join thePuppet team. The role will be responsible for defining the roadmap through performing research and collecting data from a series of stakeholders (internal/external). The Senior Product Manager will connect the business outcomes, customer outcomes, strategy and collaborate on technical plans. Using their expertise in devops and platform automation, they must be able to articulate the necessary context and requirements for leading key, strategic capabilities in public cloud and private infrastructure.

This position will support our Puppet brand. More than 40,000 organizations trust Puppet to innovate through IT infrastructure automation. Puppet helps customers strengthen their security posture, compliance standards, and business resiliency beyond the data center to the cloud.

Responsibilities:


Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define new product enhancements ensuring alignment with customer needs, business objectives and market opportunities
Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis and gather customer feedback to inform product decisions and prioritize features.
Define and refine product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, focusing on technical accuracy and feasibility.
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure alignment between product goals and technical implementation, guiding architecture and technology choices.
Drive the adoption of best practices in infrastructure automation, configuration management, and DevOps methodologies.
Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and iterate on features to continuously improve product value and user satisfaction.
Stay abreast of industry trendsand competitive landscape to inform product strategy
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior product managers and other team members.
May be required to support additional products/brands as needed.



Requirements:


8+ years of technical product management, with a strong focus on infrastructure automation and cloud management. Experience in security and compliance is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field experience.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products in the infrastructure automation space.
In-depth knowledge of tools and technologies like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent written and verbal skills. Strong proficiency in English.
The ability to gather, analyse and confidently present relevant data.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Deep comfort with technical systems.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
