Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in banking and finance, along with a strong background in UI, data flows, cloud architecture, and data modernization/transformation programs. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting both the Business Change and Technology workstreams by producing collateral such as diagrams and user stories to contribute to the overall delivery of the solution.

Responsibilities:
Domain expertise: Possess a deep understanding of the banking and financial industry, including regulations, processes, and technologies.
Requirements gathering and requirements management: Possess proven experience to lead the requirements gathering phase and ability to collect and manage the requirements by collaborating with various stakeholders.
Solution Design: Support the Architects and Business teams in the design, build and QA of the solution to deliver the documented business processes.
UI Development with UCD led approach: Support the business, User Researchers, designers, and developers to capture the requirements to enhance overall user experience.
Data Flows: Analyse and map data flows within the organisation, identify bottlenecks, Pain points or areas for improvement.
Data Modernisation/Transformation Programs: Lead data modernization/transformation programs, including evaluating current data systems, identifying gaps or areas for improvement, and developing strategies for migration or transformation.
Process reengineering- Strategise and lead process re-engineering workshops to identify improvements, and document processes to ensure clarity and consistency across the organisation
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments, including IT, finance, and operations, to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and ensure alignment between business goals and technology solutions.
Service Design Support: Working closely with service design team to ensure smooth adoption and utilisation
Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of business analysts and architects, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a business analyst, with a proven track record of successfully contributing to the success of complex projects in the banking and financial industry
Strong domain expertise in banking and finance, including knowledge of regulations, processes, and technologies
Experience in monetary policy analysis
Experience in time series database analysis
Experience in large Business Transformation Programs involving process reengineering
Extensive experience in UCD led approach, UI development, ETL processes, data flows analysis, cloud architecture, and data modernisation/transformation programs
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative ways forward and To Be Processes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
Experience in documenting processes
Experience with AGILE methodologies and using tools like JIRA
