Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer - 9 month FTC
Location: Hampshire - Mostly Remote

I am working with a tech4good company on a mission to improve digital accessibility. Their platform helps businesses integrate sign language solutions into their websites, making online content more inclusive and user-friendly for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.

Role Overview:
The team are looking for a skilled Mid-Level Full-Stack Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on both the front-end and back-end of the platform, ensuring that the product is seamless, scalable, and accessible to all users. As part of a collaborative and innovative team, you will be involved in building and enhancing features that improve user experiences and drive the success of the platform.

Requirements:
2-4 years of experience as a full-stack developer.
Proficiency with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.js.
Experience with back-end development in languages like Node.js or Python
Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL, or both), including writing and optimising queries.
Familiarity with API development (RESTful services, GraphQL, etc.) and integration.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively.
Passion for accessibility and inclusive design.

Nice to Have:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and containerisation (Docker).
Familiarity with accessibility best practices and standards (WCAG).
Experience working in an agile development environment.
Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively.
