Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Scientist to join the Data Innovation Team, focusing on leading innovative, data-driven projects. In this role, you will develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) from strategic business ideas and help test, refine, and deploy data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a balance of technical expertise and the ability to build strong business relationships, helping teams understand and implement new technologies that drive forward-thinking solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and Deploy Data Solutions: Develop POCs that align with strategic business goals and demonstrate the value of new technologies.
Shape Technical Ideas: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to refine early-stage ideas and solve technical challenges.

Innovate with Emerging Technologies: Apply cutting-edge tools and methodologies to improve business capabilities and drive innovation.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Proven Experience in POCs: Demonstrated ability to build and implement successful Proof of Concepts that bridge business needs and technical solutions.

API Development and Integration: Hands-on experience with building and integrating APIs.

Business Acumen: Ability to understand and translate business processes into technical needs, and deliver solutions that enhance operations.
Desired Qualifications:
Consultancy or Digital Transformation Background: Prior experience in digital consulting or working on digital transformation projects is highly valued.
Broad Technical Interest: Interest in exploring diverse technologies and developing solutions that enhance business innovation, with a strong grasp of digital trends.
Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to effectively communicate with business leaders, challenge existing processes, and foster buy-in for new ideas.
About You:
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about bridging the gap between technology and business, passionate about driving innovation, and comfortable working across a variety of technologies. You thrive on problem-solving, are eager to explore new tools, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment where you won't be confined to a single project or technology stack.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Databricks or Azure.
Familiarity with synthetic data concepts, though this is not required, as learning on the job is encouraged.
Exposure to AI tools and technologies, particularly working with existing models and improving ecosystems around them.
Working knowledge of Power BI and a diverse range of technology stacks without being a specialist in one.
