Windows Build Engineer

We are in search of a Windows Build Engineer for our Leidos engineering capability. The successful candidate will have a full understanding of the principles of ITIL, will have prior experience as building and maintaining windows clients on a major programme providing technical support directly to users.

As a Service Desk Analyst in Leidos you will be working on one of our key programs delivering support on a complex and ever changing MOD system. You will be working on a system that is directly involved in ensuring the National Security of the UK.

What You Will Do

Your primary responsibility will be to build Windows laptops and desktops, maintenance and updating of build images and liaise with the wider team during software upgrades. Full testing of clients prior to issue and application of security patches to both OS and client applications. Interacting with users and third party teams to arrange client swaps.

What We Are Looking For

Current clearance, or the ability to gain DV clearance.
Experience with 1st line Windows troubleshooting.
Good organizational skills.
Experience working within the ITIL framework.
Familiarity with ticket management systems.
Experience with various windows build technologies.
Application and Windows OS testing experience.
Prior knowledge of patch management services.

It Would Be Nice If You Had

Knowledge of JSP440 security guidelines.
Knowledge/Experience working within an MBSE environment.

Location: This role will be based in Herefordshire, with very occasional travel to other sites.

Clearance Required

This role will require DV clearance.
