This is a 12-month fixed term contract post to support the gynae-oncology team.

Expected Clinical Activity Of The Post

To prepare cases for and attend the Gynae-Oncology MDT (Tuesday from 15.15 – 18.30hrs) and action any clinical requests arising from the meeting in conjunction with the subspecialty trainees
To attend Gynae-Oncology operating lists (Wed-Fri 7.30 to 19.00hrs).
To provide care for Gynae-Oncology inpatients with a daily consultant/subspecialty trainee ward round. Trainees are expected to learn the management of a wide range of gynaecological conditions.
To fully support and participate in gynaecological oncology research projects and data collection.
Audits and presentations are crucial to clinical fellows’ development and every Clinical fellow would be expected to be involved in these activities. Clinical fellows are encouraged to organise their time adequately to be able to attend the wide range of departmental meetings above.
