Role Overview:

Product Owner (Accounting SaaS – Office of the CFO) - Key Responsibilities:
Work with the Product Director to define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy based on market research, customer feedback, and business goals.
Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
Gather and prioritise product requirements from both internal and external stakeholders.
Curate and manage a prioritised product backlog, incorporating support tickets, customer feedback, and implementation considerations.
Write clear and detailed user stories, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
Work closely with engineering teams to break down user stories into actionable development tasks.
Define user-centric acceptance criteria, including expected outcomes and validation processes.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure an intuitive and effective user experience.
Work closely with QA teams to maintain high product quality, supporting test case creation and validation.
Coordinate and oversee product releases, aligning sprints with roadmap objectives and ensuring timely delivery.
Act as a key point of contact for customer feedback, utilising insights to drive continuous product enhancements.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure a cohesive product development approach.
Product Owner (Accounting SaaS – Office of the CFO) - Skills and Experience:
Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within financial software development.
Strong understanding of financial processes, industry regulations, and best practices.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, non-technical language.
Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
