We are looking to hire an AI & software engineer that gets energy from getting things done and wants to be part of a 10-person scale-up bringing true innovation to the microbiology QC space. Responsibilities
Primary:
Manage the EMdi Software suite that enables our customers to standardize and automate their microbiology QC processes.
This includes developing own code and managing 3rd party suppliers.
Streamline the implementation of externally developed AI-models into our software platform.
Manage an MLOps platform to keep track of various AI models that support our vision AI solution.
Secondary:
Support the service team on software related tickets, including development, testing, and maintenance of front-end software.
Act as a liaison between customer-facing support and the software backend team to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
Become the go-to person to help the support team with complex software issues.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in computer sciences or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Python is essential.
Helicopter view on the AI-evolution to understand the potential impact of different vision AI and LLM models on our instruments & workflow.
Strong understanding of current best practices in software development, including test-driven development, continuous integration, and code reviews.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to ask pertinent questions and convey information clearly and concisely.
Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot and identify issues effectively.
Proactive and action-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
