Job Title: Signalling & Telecoms Engineer

Location: North West England

We are seeking an experienced I.T-savvy engineer with a passion for telecoms and signalling systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Omnivista or Solarwinds systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a number of projects, playing a key role in driving improvement and ensuring the successful delivery of our telecommunications and signalling systems.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the asset management team to analyse and report on asset performance and condition.
Provide technical support for the delivery of internal projects.
Assist in complex root cause investigations.
Offer technical support to frontline maintainers.
Engage effectively with stakeholders at Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) to ensure all contractual obligations are met.

The Ideal Candidate:

Proficient with Omnivista and/or Solarwinds systems.
I.T-savvy, with a good understanding of modern telecommunications technology.
Experience in signalling or broader communications technologies.
Knowledge of cybersecurity and firewall management is desirable but not essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
