Description
We currently have a vacancy for an Application/Cloud architect (Java, Angular) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks
Architecture and design of information systems;
Design, implementation and maintenance of the database layer of multi-tiers applications;
Design, implementation and maintenance of the front-end layer of web applications as well as design, implementation and maintenance of the back-end layer of web applications;
Design and development of component architecture and building blocks;
Review of systems’ architecture and analysis of the integration;
Implementation of the technical architecture;
Database configuration and optimisation;
Definition and integration of database components.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;
Experience in web technologies, application design and programming languages;
Experience with AGILE methodologies’ principles and practices;
In-depth knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and microservices;
Knowledge of interoperability technologies (e.g. REST/SOAP web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus);
Good knowledge of JAVA Programming Language (11/17/21);
Good knowledge of Hibernate framework and JPA;
Good knowledge of Spring Boot (REST APIs, Security);
Good knowledge of Oracle DBMS (SQL, PL/SQL, Query Optimization, Indexing and Oracle text);
Good knowledge of Angular (15 or higher);
Good knowledge of HTML and CSS;
Good knowledge of Gitlab and/or Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, Bamboo) and Maven;
Familiarity with SonarQube, Kubernetes and CaaS is a plus;
Excellent command of the English language.
