Level 1 SOC / Helpdesk Engineer
We are looking for a couple of dedicated and motivated Level 1 SOC (Security Operations) / Helpdesk Engineers to join our Clients team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing security operations centre, where you will support in managing security incidents and tickets, helping to maintain the safety and efficiency of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Shift Work: Work a variety of shifts throughout the week (Monday-Friday), with the potential for up to 12-hour shifts, including overnight shifts.
Ticket Management: Primarily handling security tickets raised from our Clients SOC monitoring tools. You may also be asked to cover normal helpdesk tickets as an overspill from other areas when needed.
SIEM Training: Comprehensive training will be provided on our SIEM solution, with the expectation to adjust rules to mitigate false alarms as required.
Essential Requirements:
Location: Must be based in Cardiff or Wales, with the ability to be in the office for any daytime shifts.
Availability: Flexibility for shift work, including potential overnight hours.

This role is based in London/Telford/Wythall. This role will be Via Umbrella. Working in a Hybrid Model of 1 day a week on a local site. Key Skills and Experience Using your knowledge and experience, assist key stakeholders in shaping the fund transformation delivery pipeline. Working with internal and external stakeholders, identify activities required to be executed as part of a fund transformation and build out delivery runbooks to capture and track those activities.
