Job Scope:
This role will support the collection and analysis of data from across the different departments in the business. They will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of that data and working with the IT Team to deliver reporting solutions and data insights to the business. The primary purpose is to ensure a smooth business operation through the use of accurate data and reporting to enable the right decisions to be made and also assisting with the effective use of processes and systems. This is a key role, where the candidate needs to work well with others across the business.
Responsibilities:
Identify and prioritise data, knowing what is critical to the business for operational and measuring purposes. Document and maintain the journey for all key data items.
Working with internal customers to capture business requirements & ensure they are measurable, can be tested and have fully documented business benefits associated with them.
Measure the data quality (completeness and accuracy), maintain an action plan to fix issues and maintain high quality levels.
To carry out trend analysis to identity areas and insights to improve the company’s profitability.
Be a source of expert knowledge in the data journey in the business.
Advise the business in defining new measures. Know what business questions are key, how they can be answered, and the frequency required.
Identify Data gaps within the business systems and to provide processes to ensure the quality of the data is captured.
Develop SMART requirements which are agreed with the relevant business stakeholder.
Define reporting & dashboarding needs, so that the output can accurately designed & built. This process also includes rigorous testing before go-live.
Work with the Commercial Director on projects / activities as required.

Experience of using Data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Phocas etc.)
Self-starter demonstrating the ability to work well under pressure, without supervision, to meet tight deadlines and maintain focus.
Display attitude that encourages learning and development within self and the rest of the team.
