Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Audio/Media Processing Engineer to join a leading technology and digital communications organization for a long-term contract opportunity. The successful candidate will be joining a team committed to rearchitecting the organization's existing audio and media processing services.
In this role, you will collaborate with and support other engineers, taking on development tasks that include unit testing and system-level testing for refactoring. Your expertise in writing, maintaining, and testing high-quality, low-level C++ code to ensure robust and efficient real-time processing will be crucial to the success of the program.
This role is a long term Inside IR35 contract and follows a hybrid model, onsite 1x a week in London.
Must-haves:
Experience in software development with a focus on real-time media processing.
Strong experience in low-level C++ development.
Familiarity with audio, video streaming, and digital broadcasting technologies is required.
Experience in unit testing and system-level testing methodologies.
Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities.
Plusses:
Experience with Webex or similar platforms.
