Data Analyst - (Qualified Accountant - ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
Location: Central London
Job Type: Outside IR35 Contract
Salary: £300 - £365 per day
Duration: 2/3 Months Initial - with potential to be extended to a new project
We are looking for a Data Analyst with a strong accounting background to join our team. This role is heavily focused on financial data reconciliation rather than traditional accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) who excels in handling large datasets, reconciling financial data, and ensuring data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and reconcile financial data (not standard accounts payable or general ledger tasks).
Work with large datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Identify discrepancies in financial data movement and implement resolution strategies.
Collaborate with finance and data teams to optimize data processes.
Use analytical tools to extract, manipulate, and interpret financial datasets.
Key Requirements:
Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) - qualification must be complete.
Proven experience in financial data reconciliation and working with large datasets.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data trends.
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools (eg, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
