We are looking for an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to support a Data Engineer in an observability workstream. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in deploying JSON configurations through GitLab pipelines while ensuring robust and scalable infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and AWS.
What you'll do:
Work closely with the Data Engineer to enhance observability capabilities.
Deploy and manage JSON configurations through CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Ansible.
Containerize applications and manage deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security best practices.
Monitor and troubleshoot issues across various environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience with GitLab or Jenkins CI/CD for pipeline automation.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment.
Proficiency in infrastructure automation using Ansible.
Solid understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
Ability to write and maintain infrastructure as code.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
