PE Global is recruiting a Development Engineer for our industrial manufacturing client based in Peterborough. The role is an initial 12-month contract & the rate range is £27.47 - £37.29 p/h. 3 days on site,2 days wfh.
Responsibilities:
Execution of Core Engine System validation activities
New product development technical issue resolution.
Conducting FMEA on components and systems to identify and address design risks and determine validation needs.
Plan and execute validation tests.
Conducting component and system design reviews
Keeping peers, team leader and management up to date with progress against planned activities.
Support resolution to production, test and field issues, diagnose issues to root cause, put in place containment actions, and develop permanent corrective actions. Work with suppliers and keep stakeholders informed of progress and decisions
Requirements:
3+ years experience in Diesel engine/internal combustion engine experience
Self motivated and driven to perform in role
Good communication skills
Technical competence
Teamcentre, FMEA system, Design verification plan understanding. APQP highly desirable.
