Senior Azure DevOps Engineer - Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes - Hybrid
We are currently working with a large UK retailer who are going through an ongoing Digital and Cloud Transformation. This is an opportunity for two highly skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join the team and help them along this transformation and utilise their skills. They're on the lookout for engineer's with a very strong Azure background using Terraform for IaC and Kubernetes (AKS)
This role is ideally hybrid with 1 day a week in their Nottinghamshire office but they're not against remote worker's with the ability to come into the office once a month.
Responsibilities:
Managing, building and scaling Azure infrastructure
Maintaining and building upon existing CI/CD pipelines
Azure security best practices and keeping up to date with security compliance (ISO 27001, SOC2)
Infrastructure management and development
Optimising performance by managing monitoring tools
Azure cost management
Requirements:
Strong Azure experience
IaC using Terraform
Containerisation (Kubernetes, Docker)
CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Github Actions)
Mentoring junior members of the team
Security Compliance

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Angular that communicate with our C++ & Kotlin backend components. Build and integrate gRPC APIs and services for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems. Work as part of our UI/UX team to implement responsive designs with a focus on user experience. Ensure the web applications are optimised for performance, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot, debug and optimise both frontend and backend systems. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to industry best practices.
