Company Overview:
My London based Publishing client is seeking a highly skilled Power BI & Azure Consultant to join their dynamic team.
Role Overview:
As a Power BI & Azure Consultant, you will work closely with our client to separate out the Azure side data collection, processing, and cleaning from the visualisation/Power BI side. You will provide expert guidance, support the development of dashboards and reports, and assist in integrating data platforms to deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, providing key business insights.
Implement data solutions using Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
Conduct data modeling, ETL processes, and implement data transformation techniques.
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Assist in migrating on-premise reporting solutions to cloud-based Power BI and Azure environments.
Troubleshoot and optimize existing Power BI reports, dashboards, and Azure data solutions.
Provide training and support to clients on Power BI best practices and Azure platforms.
Stay up to date with the latest developments in Power BI, Azure, and data analytics technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience working with Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data models.
Strong experience Azure architecture and integration experience from multiple data sources,
Solid experience with Azure cloud technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI Service, and Azure Analysis Services.
Strong knowledge of SQL, data integration, and ETL concepts.
Experience with DAX for creating custom calculations and measures in Power BI.
Knowledge of data warehousing and cloud architecture.
Experience in Agile methodologies and project delivery.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:
Azure architecture and integrations from multiple data sources
