Accelerant is building a new platform that will serve as the backbone of how risk is exchanged in the future. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join the SaaS Platform development team.

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and automation of comprehensive test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of our platform. The ideal candidate should have a passion for delivering robust automation solutions that detect regressions as early as possible

If you join our team, these are some of the things you’ll be doing:
Design and prioritize automation scenarios, building comprehensive test suites to ensure product quality and reliability.
Develop and maintain robust automation scripts using Serenity/JS with Playwright and the Screenplay pattern.
Debug, investigate, and conduct root cause analysis of defects discovered through automated tests.
Continuously enhance automation coverage and test reliability.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify risks and ensure high-quality product delivery.

What you bring to the table:
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proven success in delivering robust automated testing suites used by developers and QA engineers to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Passion for automation and continuous testing.
Strong coding skills.
Eagerness to learn and grow.

Desired qualifications:
5+ years of experience in software test development.
Coding experience in JS, Python, TypeScript. Bash/ Shell scripting.
Experience with back back-end testing: Node, Docker, Postman, Microservices.
Experience with end-to-end automation frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience working with data analytics platforms.
Proficiency in RDBMS and SQL.
Experience in the Insurance industry is nice to have.
