Infrastructure Engineer (VDI)
SC Clearance required at a minimum
1 year contract with extensions
2-3 days per week on site in Wiltshire, with work from home
Inside of IR35
Skills and Experience Required:
The design, development, documentation, building and validation of virtual desktop environments.
VMWare Horizon.
VMware AppVolumes and VMware UEM (or similar user environment management experience).
Experience of Windows 10 within a VDI environment including desktop optimization.
Strong experience with WINTEL technologies
Preferably at least one of the following professional certifications that have been obtained within the last five years: VMware VCP (Preferably VCP-DTM), Microsoft MCSA Windows 10 or MCSA Windows Server 2012 (or higher)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to solve problems and propose new ideas.
