Job Description
Are you an experienced Engineer looking for a new challenge? Look no further! Valeo Snackfoods, a manufacturer of some of the UK’s best loved snacks and confectionery, is looking for a new member of the team!
What You'll Be Doing
The daily reporting of breakdowns v PPMs activities
Prioritisation of repair work
Planning and Monitoring machine performance
Working with the Planning Department to negotiate machine availability
Monitoring failure
Supporting External Contractors
Technical support for production when required
To maintain the highest standards in housekeeping, adopting a clean as you go policy.
To maintain the highest standards when completing paperwork and works sign off.
Key Areas Of The Role
Carrying out of the engineering activities.
Achieving P.P.M. Plans and completion rates.
Minimizing engineering downtime.
Maintaining GMP and safety standards within the Engineering Department.
Implementing and ensuring compliance of engineering processes within the team.
Ensuring the highest engineering audit standards at all times· Ensuring Engineering skills and knowledge are maintained at the highest level.
Qualifications

Relevant engineering qualification
Able to prove competency in all forms of isolation, electrical safety and safe panel entry
Experience of FMCG operations
PC Literate (thereby able to use computer-based maintenance systems)
Able to strip machines in full and reassemble them, as well as completing machine size change procedures and their adjustments.
You Will Be
An "out of the box" thinker who isn't afraid to share a "light bulb" moment!
Health and Safety driven.
Willing and able to work both independently and as part of a close team.
Additional Information
Salary: £46,920 per annum
Hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am till 6pm and 6pm till 6am (rotating shifts)
