Job Title: Cybersecurity AI Consultant
Rate: DOE (Outside IR35)
Location: Remote
Contract Length: Initial 6 months (with option to go permanent after)

A leading consultancy specialising in regulation and certifications are seeking an AI Consultant to join their team on either an interim contract or permanent basis. This role will be heavily AI focused and will require someone who has worked specifically on AI Governance and Regulation.

AI Consultant - Key Responsibilities:
Advise and assist customers in creating value through the AI systems they build or use, ensuring the trustworthiness of these systems via robust AI management processes.
Conduct assessments and prepare reports to demonstrate compliance and identify gaps with various AI regulations, frameworks, and standards, helping customers understand improvement areas or potential non-conformities.
Enhance the organization's reputation as a trusted partner in digital trust by providing excellent services such as planning, advising, assisting, delivering, and reporting. Share up-to-date knowledge with customers through various marketing channels, including web, blogs, social media, webinars, events, and more.
Maintain a professional and engaging approach in all interactions to maximise value creation for customers, resulting in quality services, customer satisfaction, long-term relationships, and positive commercial results.
Plan and schedule workloads effectively, both independently and in collaboration with team members, to maximise revenue-generating activities.
Take a customer-focused leadership approach, mentoring junior team members to deliver excellent service and grow professionally.
Commit to continuous learning, staying abreast of developments in the AI Trust regulatory and normative landscape. Use these insights to design relevant services and guide customers. Engage proactively with stakeholders to drive continual improvement across the organisation.
Collaborate with AI technical assurance experts to address the technical needs of customer projects, ensuring comprehensive and effective solutions.


AI Consultant - Experience and Qualifications Required:
Minimum of five years of professional experience as a consultant, advisor, or assessor in Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Protection, or Information Technology.
Demonstrated strong knowledge of governance frameworks related to digital technologies (regulations, standards, audit criteria and protocols, certification schemes) and the ability to build, evaluate, and improve management systems based on standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and ISO 9001.
Proven ability to read and interpret various international and national regulations and standards related to digital technologies, particularly those concerning artificial intelligence, machine learning, trustworthy AI, and similar domains.
Familiarity with AI terminology, trustworthy AI concepts, and components, along with an understanding of software development lifecycles and processes.
Direct experience in Artificial Intelligence and its techniques and methods is advantageous.
Ability to build strong customer relations and drive the organisation to do the same, turning customer needs and market insights into value propositions, service descriptions, and customer offerings, resulting in continuous business growth.
University degree in artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, robotics, engineering, or a related field. Specialisation in technical testing of AI for robustness, trustworthiness, bias, etc., is advantageous.
A conceptual and analytical thinker able to listen effectively, understand customer needs accurately, and translate them into value-adding services delivered efficiently and results-oriented.
