FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Data Analyst to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially an 8-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a fully remote role.

As a Data Analyst focusing on ePrivacy, you will be an integral part of our client’s dynamic team, working collaboratively to ensure the success of their projects and initiatives. You will be responsible for managing system testing, analysing data, and producing insightful visualisations to support stakeholders. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and governance.

Responsibilities
Oversee testing, production releases, defect management, and reporting
Work in an agile environment to deliver projects efficiently
Present findings and project updates clearly and effectively
Compile requirements and manage delivery through various project phases
Manage system testing and write testing scripts with stakeholders
Analyse testing output for user journeys and data feeds
Document testing results for governance purposes
Understand and work with APIs and data
Read and analyse JSON payloads
Understand database structures and API data feeds
Perform process modeling with tools like Visio
Analyse data with Excel/Tableau and produce data visualisations for stakeholders
Use data dashboards from tools like Adobe and Tableau to report on KPIs


Requirements
Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team
Experience in compiling requirements and managing delivery through various project phases
Proficiency in overseeing testing, production releases, defect management, and reporting
Technical skills in system testing, writing testing scripts, and analysing testing output
Knowledge of APIs, data, and JSON payloads
Understanding of database structures and API data feeds
Experience in process modeling with Visio
Proficiency in data analysis with Excel/Tableau and producing visualisations
Experience with data dashboards from Adobe and Tableau
Experience in the financial sector or similar industries
Familiarity with ePrivacy regulations and best practices
Certification in agile methodologies with demonstrable working experience
