Trading Data Analyst - London. Miller Maxwell is working closely with an expanding high-frequency trading organisation seeking to hire a Data Analyst for the expanding London team. The proprietary trading business is an exchange-based trader working with specific algorithms within the derivatives and futures markets. The Trading Data Analyst will have the opportunity to work closely with highly experienced Quant Traders, Quant developers and highly experienced software engineers.
Responsibilities for the Trading Data Analyst:
Monitor trade flows and ensure execution of trades.
Oversee trading system optimising raw data flows.
Monitor trade risk and performance.
Collaborate with front-office traders to apply models, make changes, and implement these changes.
Work with third parties and exchanges to resolve trading issues.
Handle trade capture and system execution processing.
Requirements for the Trading Data Analyst:
A degree in a STEM related subject - is essenial.
1 year of commercial experience with in a Data Analysis, Operations or Trade Support position.
Experience with Python and advanced VBA skills.
Essential experience with market data, raw data, real-time trading data.
Knowledge of software monitoring tools is an advantage.
