Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Specialist to help strengthen our clients' security posture and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their critical information systems. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures, analyzing security risks, and responding to security incidents. You will work closely with other teams within the organization to provide guidance on security best practices and to ensure a proactive defense against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement, configure, and manage security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection). Monitor and analyze network traffic, logs, and alerts to detect and mitigate potential security threats. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk assessments to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements. Respond to and investigate security incidents, ensuring proper documentation and escalation of critical issues. Collaborate with IT, development, and operations teams to implement secure systems, applications, and networks. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threat intelligence, and emerging attack techniques. Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Provide training and support to internal teams on security best practices and risk management. Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and incident response plans. Support audits and compliance efforts (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001).
Key Skills and Experience:
2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network security, system security, or incident response. Strong understanding of security technologies, such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, endpoint protection, and encryption. Experience with vulnerability management, risk assessment, and penetration testing. Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.), operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS), and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.). Hands-on experience with security monitoring, event analysis, and incident response. Knowledge of industry standards, frameworks, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA). Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or similar are preferred. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Main tasks Qualification of security alerts analysing security event alerts as incidents and classifying them as cybersecurity incidents where appropriate. Alerts are reported by : SOC, BugBounty researchers, employees (phishing), determine the impact, criticality and relevance of the alerts reported; in the case of a BugBounty report, reproduce the vulnerability on a dedicated platform; propose and check the associated corrective measures in conjunction with the technical (platform, corporateIT and development) and legal teams; propose short- and medium-term adhoc improvements; compile adhoc indicators. Treatement of alerts of fraud analysing fraud alerts and classifying them as proven fraud if necessary; determine the impact and financial cost; propose areas for adhoc improvement; compile adhoc indicators.
