We are looking for an IAM Engineer for a freelance project in Brussels, Belgium. The position is Full-Time (5 days p/week) and hybrid over an initial duration of 12 Months, plus a high likelihood of extensions.

About the Company:
We are strengthening our identity team in the context of rolling out a new Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IAM Engineer & Infrastructure Expert to play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our IAM platform.
Job Summary:
The IAM Engineer & Infrastructure Expert will be responsible for supporting the development and ongoing maintenance of our IAM platform. This role requires deep expertise in IAM engineering principles and practices, as well as a strong understanding of infrastructure setup and management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the further development and enhancement of the IAM platform.
Design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions leveraging SAML, OIDC, SCIM, RBAC, and ABAC.
Manage user onboarding and lifecycle within the IAM system.
Set up and maintain the infrastructure required for IAM development, including version control, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with other teams to integrate IAM solutions with existing systems and applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest IAM trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science.
Minimum of 8 years of demonstrable experience in IAM engineering and infrastructure management.
Proven experience with SAML, OIDC, SCIM, RBAC, and ABAC.
Strong understanding of infrastructure as code, version control (e.g., Git, GitLab, GitHub), and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Vocational Training in Advanced Networking, Systems Deployment and Integrations) are a plus.
Active knowledge of English and French.
