An Senior IT Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire portfolio of IT projects, programs, and other related initiatives within an organization. Their role is to ensure that the IT investments align with the business strategy and deliver value. They manage the portfolio to achieve the optimal balance between investment and return, risk management, and resource allocation.
We are looking for a Senior IT Portfolio Manager in our Sales IT organization who can help us to detail the plan and deliver the implementation in the areas of portfolio governance and related project management approach, establish demand- and portfolio management (incl. especially resource and dependency management as key elements to enable portfolio decisions) and who organizes with key stakeholders from finance the financial management of Change IT and Run IT budgets
5+ years of experience and/or relevant certification in relevant IT frameworks (portfolio mgmt., program mgmt., project mgmt., e.g. PRINCE2)
Cross-functional Communication: Lead communication and collaboration with other functions to ensure seamless integration of IT portfolio processes.
Performance Monitoring: Monitor the IT Portfolio Management team’s performance, analyze data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
Reporting: Report progress, IT Portfolio Management team performance, and project-specific KPIs to the VP of Portfolio & Delivery.
Demand Management Oversight: Oversee the IT Demand Management process to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
IT Portfolio Planning & Budgeting: Supervise the management of the IT portfolio and respective planning and budgeting processes.
CIO Office Liaison: Collaborate with the CIO Office function on IT portfolio and program/project management matters.
