C# Software Developer Oldbury
My client, based in Oldbury is looking to hire a software developer with experience Of C# and a mix of Web and Back End development along with experience of Delphi.
This is a newly created role working for a close knit team and your role will include that will see you both maintaining Legacy Delphi systems as well migrating the Delphi systems into more modern technologies such as C#, Blazor and modern JavaScript frameworks.
This role will see you:
Design, development and support of software to business requirements, specification standards and quality
Database administration duties including maintenance and design
Producing documentation to the required standard and quality
Supporting system integration testing, including input into test planning
Successfully meeting agreed targets.
The IT Department provides information technology systems and support to all divisions within the business and my client is looking for a skilled Software Developer to join and strengthen their existing team within the IT Department. This is a permanent Full time role assisting with the delivery of software for construction design and manufacturing systems.
The ideal candidate
Would have a minimum of 3-4 years in industry (preferably in manufacturing or construction design experience)
Have a minimum of 3-4 years programming experience including Delphi, dev, Blazer, SQL server, C#, .NET Framework, Delphi, JavaScript, WPF, XAML, WVVM, ADO, ODBC, MS Access database, MS Excel (Advanced)
Database development and design knowledge using SQL server data bases and stored procedures and functions
Have good problem-solving skills - specifically to analyse and resolve software errors and data discrepancies
Computer literate, well organised, professional and able to work under pressure
Responsible for achieving objectives on own initiative, as well as part of a team
Able to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and pay attention to detail
Be able to communicate systems and software development to users at all levels,
This role is fully office based and your hours are split over 4.5 days so you will get every Friday afternoon off! In return for your skills my client is offering a salary up to £50000 plus a generous benefits package.
