Job Specifications
We are seeking a skilled Design Manager to join our team in Brussels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and be proficient in using tools such as Comsof, ArcGIS, and QGIS. Knowledge of Marlin software is considered a strong asset. The candidate should be fluent in English and/or Dutch, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This will be a consultant contract in the beginning.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, Comsof) to analyze, manage, and visualize spatial data.
Develop and maintain GIS databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support projects requiring geospatial analysis.
Create maps, reports, and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to GIS tools and workflows.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in GIS technology.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with GIS software, including ArcGIS and QGIS.
Knowledge of Comsof and Marlin is a strong asset.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Fluency in English and/or Dutch (both written and spoken).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geography, Geomatics, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
