Description
We currently have a vacancy for an Application Cloud Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks
Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
Analysis of the system’s technical security;
Data analysis and data modelling;
Implementation of the defined technical architecture;
Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting;
Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud.
Requirements
University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;
Specific expertise in java development;
Specific expertise in security;
Specific expertise in architecture best practices and patterns;
Specific expertise in microservices and architecture in the cloud;
Specific expertise in applications design;
Specific expertise in modelling tools;
Specific expertise in Enterprise Architecture;
Specific expertise in Relational DBMS;
Specific expertise in business process analysis;
Specific expertise in interoperability technology (web services, message-oriented middleware, service oriented bus, event architecture);
Very good knowledge of Java Enterprise framework;
Very good knowledge of JavaScript and related frameworks;
Very good knowledge of Angular framework;
Good knowledge of ORACLE RDBMS;
Good knowledge of Cloud technologies (principally AWS);
Experience with eUI would be considered as an asset;
The following certificate: “Angular Certified Developer”, would be considered as an asset;
Excellent command of the English language.

The clients control framework aligns with industry standards including IT COBIT, ISO 27001/2, and CIS. It is currently being implemented in the ServiceNow GRC platform. As part of this role, you will actively contribute to defining and implementing controls (change) and managing them as they transition to live operation for continuous monitoring and improvement (run). Your responsibilities include designing and rolling out effective controls to address key risks and regulatory requirements across security domains following agreed Control Management process and onboarding implementation procedure. By promoting and implementing controls, you will improve the risk culture and control maturity within the IT organization. You'll collaborate closely with process owners, control owners, and performers across IT divisions and locations. Additionally, you'll engage with second and third lines of defense, including Risk Management and Internal Audit.
