Solution Architect (Contract) – eCommerce Migration

Our client are looking for a Solution Architect to lead a major eCommerce platform migration for a well-established organisation. This role will focus on transitioning from Hybris to Adobe Commerce (Magento), ensuring a seamless integration with existing business systems. You’ll play a key role in shaping the technical strategy, system architecture, and implementation roadmap, collaborating with development teams and stakeholders to deliver a best-in-class solution.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements
eCommerce Migration & Architecture
Lead Hybris to Adobe Commerce (Magento) migration.
Develop an architectural roadmap and ensure seamless system integration (ERP, POS, warehouse, APIs, middleware).
Design scalable, secure, high-performance solutions.
Optimise existing tech landscape and document best practices.
Technical Leadership & Ops
Act as technical authority, guiding teams and vendors.
Conduct architectural reviews and oversee implementation
Develop a go-live strategy with minimal disruption.
Identify post-migration optimisation & scalability opportunities.
Experience & Skills
Proven expertise in Adobe Commerce (Magento) and large-scale eCommerce migrations (Hybris experience preferred).
Strong background in system integration, API design, middleware, ERP, POS, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies.
Ability to balance technical decisions with business objectives and budgets.
Strong problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

- Primary Network Coordinator - 12-Month FTC Hatfield, Hybrid (2 days per week) We’re looking for a Transport Coordinator(Primary Network Coordinator) to join our Internal Transport Team at Ocado. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of stock from suppliers, working closely with hauliers, and handling daily transport-related queries. This role is essential in keeping our operations on track, dealing with challenges as they arise, and ensuring that our logistics function runs efficiently. What You’ll Be Doing Managing day-to-day transport queries, including delays, missed deliveries, and order shortages. Monitoring and responding to queries via our central inbox. Generating and uploading finance and operational reports. Using in-house systems (basic Excel skills required). Supporting account managers with ad hoc administrative tasks.
