Participate in a 247 global coverage plan including weekend oncall and holiday coverage
Coordinate with service providers for resolving ISP related issues
Ability to diagnose complex network problems and find the root cause
Maintains and improves network stability by upgrading existing network infrastructure
Provides support for network infrastructure problems by monitoring the teams support queue troubleshooting and diagnosing problems identifying the root causes of problems ensuring corrective action is taken following problem identification developing plans of action to address network performance problems aiding team members in the resolution of problems and holding suppliers accountable for delivering corrective actions
Collaborate cross functional teams of Network and Security Architects Server and Platform Engineers and Data Center Operations
Maintain switch router and other hardware support
Review IPCR and ensure tickets are up to date
Maintain the agreed SLA
Prepare Shift Roster
Create and maintain run books for various and operational needs
Create the SOPs for daytoday repeatable work

Hourly rate: £70 per hour (Inside IR35) Contracting entity - Umbrella only Role Overview: Team is seeking a Senior Wireless Network Engineer to assist in the complex environment with Wi-Fi practice. As a member of the technical delivery team, the candidate will be responsible for working on all aspects of the Wi-Fi solution - including, but not limited to - venue design, Access Point/Controller testing and configuration, documentation, operational support, device certification, technical evaluation, RF surveys, optimisation and tuning and event day testing of venue Wi-Fi solution. The candidate will need a deep understanding of the latest 802.11 Wi-Fi standards, have existing experience working on complex, large scale High-Density (HD) Wi-Fi deployments, ideally within a big Arena environment.
